RECAP 2015

Today, I’m probably going to write the longest post I’ll ever be writing here because this is a SUMMARY of last years’ outfit shots I haven’t blogged about. I solemnly swear that this year I’ll be more dedicated to my blog. It’s my passion in the first place and like a breather through all the work I’m doing in my everyday grind. Not blogging doesn’t mean I’m not taking any outfit shots. So here it is! I’m presenting to you may faces. LELS. Hey! Better late for a year than never right? HAHAHA 😀

A month where I deprived food. Can’t believe I’m so tiny here. Or thin. Or not. Take me back to this size pleaseeeeee? And check out that colored hair! It’s my first time to put color in my hair here. #Dry&frizzy

I pulled off this belly showing photo this month which is by the way, candid.

This blazer is a Valentine’s gift from the boyfriend. 😉 I actually love the lighting in these photos. It’s during the time of the day when people sleep and I shoot :p

Another blazer ensemble. This time a little bit formal with a twist and color popping everywhere.

Light rays of a sunset are my thing too. It’s magical. These shots are taken on  a birthday party

at golden hour by my photographer friend. Isn’t it amazing?

The month I decided to cut my locks off to give way to the fringe-ey bangs.

The off shoulder trend started peeping in my life this month. It has been my favorite since. Plus florals!

Another floral and ripped jeans combooo. I think it’s another experimental outfit for me because I don’t really use aviators. It doesn’t fit. I think. In my face. 😀

Things have become stable this month because I have finally adjusted. In my time, my own pace, and the plans are finally drifting. Thank God. And in the fashion area, I have set to mind the items that I want. So I’m preparing myself. Get ready 2016! 😀

I love these strappy sandals. It’s like a must have item. DSC_0829 DSC_0818 DSC_0830 DSC_0817

My first time to hike a few hundred steps just to have few pictures taken! 😀 Here is the only remembrance of an outfit shot last month since it was heck of a busy month! It was a whirlwind of going back and forth, traveling, and attending all these events. But it was my most favorite month! I love the holiday rush 2015! Just thanking God for all his blessings that HE has showered to me and my family. #grateful

So there you go! My 2015 was tight but I’m just thankful for all the lessons, blessings, failures, and success. And I’m closing it with the thought of a more positive, bright, adventurous, joyful, unique 2016. Happy that my first month is going really well.

I’m hoping that you all will be blessed too!

Thank you 2015.

Let’s go 2016!

Fashion Post: Efflorescent

If I were to give a title to this post, it would be something obvious like anything with  ”Floral” (again)  but since it’s too cliche, I looked for other words related and came across the word Efflorescent, which means a gradual process of unfolding or developing, budding, issuing forth, rising, or emanating. I am in love with this word and what it means. It somehow correlates with my state  and emotions gushing through today and it appears to be in this outfit.   These past few days I’ve been trying to balance things with my life especially my time. Like what to do for the day, I see to it that I really do something productive because if I don’t, I resent. HAHAHA. Just kidding. I’m also trying weigh things between what my brain and heart says and I feel like I should reconcile them and keep calm. (Okay, THIS IS ONE BIG REVELATION. K. I don’t think anyone reads this anyway. LOL 😀 )   Nevertheless,  I’m just trying to really make the most out of it. Enjoying but still doing something worth 🙂

Soooo brace yourselves! My next post is still something budding 😉

Xoxo, Shannen ♥♥♥

Fashion Post: Stripes & Shorts

DSC_1753 DSC_1797 bw DSC_1791 DSC_1802 DSC_1774 Untitled_Panorama1Hello! from the gloomy skies of Bacolod! This is Supershannen bringing you another outfit post for the day 🙂 Oh diba.  Just like a reporter. LOL.  But seriously it’s been raining like crazy here in my city for two days already. So, rather than just lazily lying around. I should just start being productive and write a post. 🙂

Here is another black & white outfit that I wore on a private resort, when I went out of town with my fam a few Sundays ago. We ate our lunch there and just had a great time relaxing and chatting. This post is also a bit special because I have my two ”firsts” here. One is, this is my first outfit shoot out of town. Then, this is also the first time I wore shorts on the blog. I wore them because we went swimming just right after these pictures were taken. I had to be practical. Lol. I also wore just a few accessories here. I just don’t wear much now unlike before where everything would pile up. Well you know what they say, the only constant thing in this world is change 🙂

So what do you think?

Let me know, just leave a comment below 🙂

Anyway, Holy Week/vacation starts soon! Where do you plan to go?

Fashion Post: Houndstooth-ish

Hey everybody!

It’s been two weeks since our Semestral break started and I am still getting the hang of it. So many things have happened! and will still happen, which I am going to tell you.

I told you that I was going to Cebu, a few weeks back but a fortuitous event took place. An earthquake. And so, it was postponed.  The advantage of the postponed event is, I was able to stay just in time for Masskara Festival which was a good thing! because I was able to witness my dad and their school’s participation of the giant puppets and also get to  hang with my friends 🙂 But the disadvantage was, the supposed trip was rescheduled at the same date me and my family are going to also have a vacation. So what am I gonna do now? Well, all problems have solutions. Thank God! it was resolved! My mom re-booked our family trip and my own little trip will definitely push through. I’ll be leaving later! 🙂

The week after, one blogger friend, Jade contacted me and if we could meet-up so she could feature me in her website which is and I said yes! We had a wonderful time chatting talking about blogging and bloggers. I’m just blogging for fun and someone came to recognize it. I feel so happy and blessed!  Thank you Lord for this wonderful opportunity! 🙂

Check her blog here:

Check my feature here:

Anyway,  before I leave, I’m just gonna share with you these photos we took after the Festivities. For my top,  I am wearing a Printed Hounds tooth Dress which I paired with a Black Skater Skirt and Black Pumps.  Wearing this feels like vintage to me 🙂

A henna tattoo.

Well, this is probably the longest post i have ever written.  hihi.

I hope you like it!

Fashion Post: Blue & Cream Combo

Hey errbody!

As what I’ve said in my previous post, i’ll finish posting all my outfit shots. So here is another one! 🙂

These past few weeks, I’m kinda experimenting on different color combinations. Been also buying bright colored pants. They’re my fave thing now because you have unlimited choices in styling them. From casual to ragged and a lot more! Hope you like this outfit!

I paired this with a cream top and shoes so that the pants will stand out.

So what do you think?
